Formed by Edu Ribeiro, Fábio Torres, and Paulo Paulelli, Trio Corrente blends the tradition of 1960s samba-jazz trios with modern jazz, choro, and Brazilian music. Their collaboration with Paquito D'Rivera on Song for Maura won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album.
