From Toulouse to Tehran, with stops in Barcelona and Milan, five exceptional musicians came together in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. At the piano, Pierre Bauzerand (France), joined by Toni Cuenca (Spain) on bass, Iscle Datzira (Spain) on saxophones, Shayan Fathi (Iran) on drums, and Pepe Ragonese (Italy) on trumpet. Coming from diverse cultural backgrounds, the quintet weaves a vibrant fusion of classic and contemporary jazz, nourished by the influences of their respective countries. Their music is original and constantly evolving, surprising and captivating at every moment. Driven by fiery energy, bold improvisations, and subtle touches of lyricism, their sound travels from traditional jazz toward more modern expressions, journeying through the history of jazz and the human experience beyond borders, in a spirit of universality and exchange.
