Information

Nicolás Delgado is a jazz guitarist and composer based in Berlin since 2002. He trained at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona and specializes in a style that combines bebop, contemporary jazz, and organ jazz. He leads his own quartet (guitar, tenor saxophone, electric bass, and drums), exploring an expressive sound where original compositions converge with flexible dynamics and open improvisation. His career is characterized by a global musical ethos and collaborations with musicians based primarily in Europe. His music has become established in international clubs and regular jam sessions in Berlin, particularly at venues such as B-flat and Gravity Bar, where he performed frequently from 2023 to 2025. He has also been part of jazz festivals such as Jazzwoche Berlin, where he presented the project connected to his new project, Resurrection, in June 2025. Delgado has built a strong identity within the European jazz scene, standing out for his introspective guitar style and his ability to interact with tenor saxophone, electric bass, and drums in both acoustic and electric formats.
