“ENCOUNTERS WITH HORACIO FUMERO”: SPECIAL GUEST "ANDREA MOTIS" (BARCELONA JAZZ FESTIVAL)

Horacio Fumero in conversation with Andrea Motis

One hour of conversation, music, and live improvisation.

Club del Disco Barcelona presents a new series hosted by Horacio Fumero, bringing back the spirit of the great radio programmes devoted to conversations with musicians.

At each encounter, Horacio invites an artist to sit down, talk, and play music together. With no rush and none of the usual distance of the stage, the conversation unfolds through stories, questions, memories, influences, and spontaneous musical improvisations that emerge in the moment.

This time, the special guest will be Andrea Motis, one of the most prominent artists on today's jazz scene. A trumpeter, singer, and composer, she has developed a distinctive musical voice that blends the traditions of jazz with an open-minded sensibility towards a variety of styles and sounds.

An intimate and informal encounter to discover the artist beyond the stage, share stories, and enjoy the musical chemistry between Andrea Motis and Horacio Fumero in a spontaneous format where conversation and music intertwine without a script.
