CIRILO FERNÁNDEZ | PIANO SOLO

Information

Pianist, composer, and producer born in Switzerland and raised in Buenos Aires, Cirilo Fernández is one of the prominent figures in the contemporary Argentine music scene. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, where he obtained a double degree in Jazz Composition and Film Scoring, he has developed his own language that combines the freedom of jazz with influences from soul, rock, R&B, and electronic music. Founder and leader of Fernández 4, he was awarded the Gardel Prize for Best Jazz Album in 2017 for Mute, while his work Retrovertigo received multiple nominations for the Gardel Awards in 2020. Throughout his career, he has also collaborated with prominent artists from the national and international music scene, establishing a restless, personal musical identity open to experimentation. On this occasion, Cirilo Fernández will arrive at El Club del Disco to offer a solo piano concert: an intimate encounter where the instrument will be the absolute protagonist. An opportunity to discover up close his creative universe, explore the nuances of his musical language, and be carried away by a performance where composition, improvisation, and sensitivity converge.
